Q: Day 1 : Guwahati to Kaziranga

Distance: Approx. 220 km | Travel Time: 5.5–6 hrs excluding sightseeing After arriving at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, proceed to the Kamakhya Temple , situated atop Nilachal Hill and one of India's most revered Shakti Peethas. Spend some time at the temple complex for darshan before beginning the onward journey. Later, proceed towards Kaziranga National Park , enjoying the scenic drive through the countryside of Assam. Kaziranga is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the world's largest population of the one-horned rhinoceros. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and take some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, if time permits, visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park , known for its large collection of native orchids, along with its bamboo and medicinal plant sections, traditional food hut and cultural museum showcasing the heritage of Assam. Q: Day 2 : Kaziranga National Park Safari

Begin the morning with an Elephant Safari in the Central Range (Kohora) or Western Range (Bagori) of Kaziranga National Park, subject to availability. The safari usually begins at around 5:30 AM and offers an opportunity to explore the park's tall grasslands and wetlands up close, while looking out for the one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffalo, swamp deer and a variety of bird species. Return to the resort for breakfast and some time to relax. After lunch, proceed for a Jeep Safari through one of the designated ranges of Kaziranga National Park. The safari offers another opportunity to spot the one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants, hog deer, wild buffalo and, with some luck, the Royal Bengal tiger. In the evening, visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park to enjoy a cultural show featuring Bihu and other traditional folk dances of Assam. The show generally begins at around 6:30 PM, subject to the day's schedule. Return to the resort and enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight stay: Kaziranga

Q: Day 3 : Kaziranga to Guwahati

Distance: Approx. 215 km | Travel Time: 5–5.5 hrs excluding sightseeing After breakfast, check out from the resort and begin the journey back towards Guwahati. En route, visit the Maha Mrityunjay Temple (Mahamrityunjay Mandir) at Puranigudam, Nagaon. Dedicated to Lord Shiva and opened in 2021, the temple is known for its striking 126-ft structure built in the shape of a Shivalinga, often described as the largest of its kind in the world. Continue towards Guwahati and proceed to the Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey. Note: An afternoon or evening departure from Guwahati is recommended. Tour Ends.
